How does it work with the windows down?

it works fine when in driving in city/slow traffic or parked. just don’t expect the best clarity going to the other person on the other end of your call with the windows down and you are driving 60+ mph on the highways. obviously.

Cool, I seen ur DIY write up on E46fanatics. Just waiting for mine to come in the mail! Great DIY!

I’m happy with my 328i, but the only performance mods are sport suspection and the Signature Motoring performance intake for about $150. Signature Motoring kit adds around 11HP on the dyno, great sound, and the best performance upgrade for the money. See my channel videos!

    -Adds 9-11 HP

-Never replace filter again (uses K&N filter)

    -GREAT SOUND

-Installs in maybe 30-45 min. K&N filter lasts a lifetime.

I’m thinking maybe performance exhaust, but eh.

The E46 looks much more robust than the E36 IMHO. I would put in the Signature Motoring performance intake kit for only around $150 and gain up to 13HP on the stock output for the 330i and a bit less for the 325 and 328. I highly recommend this item, see my youtube channel for the action video on it.

    -Installs in round 45min.
    -Guaranteed HP increase
    -Induction sound to die for
    -Awesome fit/finish.

See my video of how it sounds AND performs!

  7. If your BMW is more than one year old, it might be time to update the BMW navigation software. Contained on a DVD, BMW updates the software every six months by adding new streets, restaurants, lodging, points of interest, and other miscellaneous items. Especially if you are on the road a lot and depend on your GPS navigation system to guide you around traffic jams, you should be prepared to update BMW navigation software at least every year
